You don't need to be a tech expert. Follow these four steps, one evening at a time.
Start at step 1. One step at a time is plenty.
Step 1
Get Up to Speed
Read The Parent's Guide to AI at Home first. It explains the big ideas the rest of the kit builds on, and its one-page "Start Tonight" plan gets you going this evening. Use the Parent Workbook alongside it: its fill-in pages follow the same topics.
Step 2
Pick Your Child's Age
Each Family Activity Pack fits one age band: 5–8, 9–12, or 13–17. Ages 5–8 get drawing, sorting, and pretend-play pages. Ages 9–12 get sorts, puzzles, and a "True or Made Up" score sheet. Ages 13–17 get challenges, planners, and pages for thinking things through. Have kids in more than one age band? Use each child's own age-band Activity Pack.
Step 3
Set Family Rules Together
The Family AI Agreement walks you through a short family meeting, about 20 minutes, where you choose your AI rules, write them down, and sign them together.
Step 4
Practice and Talk
Pull a conversation card from the Talk & Print Pack at dinner, or try one page from your child's Activity Pack. One card a day is plenty. Most activity pages take 10 to 20 minutes.
